The Ascent Vaporizer, from the people who created the best-selling DaVinci Vaporizer, has continued to build a solid buzz as one of the most anticipated new vaporizers of 2013. As is often the case with new products in this industry, details have been very limited, leaving vapor enthusiast to speculate about how the product will perform, as well how much it will cost and when it will REALLY be available. Well, speculate no more... we've got you covered!
We can now confirm that the Ascent release date was pushed back to May 1st, 2013 and it will hit the market at $250. We are also happy to share a video released last week by DaVinci that offers a demo of the Ascent. Although it's not the great quality we have come to expect from previous DaVinci videos, it adequetly quenches our thirst to see the Ascent in action. Check it out below:
So there you have it. We mentioned in our February V8PE of the Month Review that the original DaVinci Vaporizer is one of the most "plug-and-play" vaporizer on the market. The Ascent Vaporizer looks like it will offer a similar experience with some nice improvements.
The glass parts are completely removable and the heating chamber is totally exposed, which should make it much easier to clean and maintain than the original. The battery is reported to last for 4 hours of continuous use, which would be a big improvement over the orginal, as well as make the Ascent one of the longest lasting battery operated vaporizers (that we are aware of) in the world. The last few seconds of the video shows our favorite feature though... the Ascents ability to produce big, thick clouds of clean, tasy vapor. Yum!
What is your favorite thing about the Ascent? Are you going to snag one early or wait until it's been around for a bit? Holla at us in the comments and let us know what's up.
