We are always digging around the web for info about the latest and greatest Vaporizers coming to the market. We recently came across the video below that introduces the Wizvape, a new portable that claims to be launching in Spring 2013.
We're always a bit skeptical when such little info is available (this video is really the only thing we could find) about a product that is supposed to hit the market so soon (the first day of Spring in a few weeks according to Phil the Groundhog), but were intrigued by some of the product's reported features, including the all glass-ceramic heating chamber that allows you to watch the material being vaped and the built-in stirring mechanism the manufacturer is calling the "STIRHEAT Mixing System".
There are also a few choices it appears the manufacturer made that we are wondering about. The video looks like it shows a heating coil inside the heating chamber (0:15s), how will this be kept from contacting (and burning) the materials? Hopefully it's just used for stirring and the heat comes from somewhere outside the chamber, but it sure looks like a heating element in the video.
Also, we're wondering what the mouthpiece is made of, it looks like plastic (0:58s)... why would a vape maker go through the trouble of making an all glass-ceramic heating chamber and then give you a plastic mouthpiece? Seems like it kind of defeats the purpose.
These things aside, the Wizvape looks like it could be a solid portable vaporizer for loose-leaf materials. We are looking forward to learning more about this slick looking vape and will keep you posted as details become available.
Is the Wizvape is HOT or NOT? What do you like and/or not like the most about it? Does it give new meaning to the saying "taking a wiz"? Holla at us in the comments.
